This site contains photographs found in John R. Atwood possessions and links to other Atwood related photographs, histories, genealogy. 

John R's photographs have been scanned and most have been left in an unprocessed state so that they can be modify to meet your taste or preference.

Any information written on the photograph has been added to the photo's EXIF data.  EXIF data can be observed using Windows Photo Gallery or Windows Explorer.

There are numerous photographs where there is no information provided on the original.  If you can identify any of those please let me know so I can update the collection.  Contact me at jatwood@xmission.com.

Each pile, album or find of photographs is maintained in its own collection. Each collection can be viewed here on the web or the entire collection can be downloaed. An archive file for each collection is provide if you'd like to download all of the photographs. Each archive contains of all the photographs in the collection and a file named "index.txt".  It contains a text version of the EXIF information.

Carlisle Collection consists of 21 photographs. They were found in a genealogy file folder. The archive file (allphotos.zip) can be downloaded. It is 13 megabytes.

Written histories and phtographs is a collection of personal histories and photographs. They are the digitized versions of those old mimeographed copies that have been kicking around in our four generation folders for decades.
