about me

Like any journey, Galena's Journey is the result of navigating many different pathways and detours. It is constantly unfolding and developing itself, and hopefully I am progressing with it. Thank you for joining me on the journey.

This website is changing and adapting, like the journey itself. Visit the what's new? section to easily see what has changed on Galena's Journey.

Writing is a passion of mine. The writings page lists my new articles, evolving work such as the series "Without Words: The Language of Signs and Symbols" and "Practical Astrology", some of my poetry, and examples of my academic work.

Visit books & music to learn about two of my passions--the printed word and recorded sound. The section includes book and music reviews on a wide variety of topics and genres.

And of course, I shouldn't neglect to mention the ubiquitous links page. Check out these sites that reflect my interests. To learn more about me personally, click here.

It is important to mention that Galena is my magical name and alter ego. A magical name is chosen by many Pagans to designate a difference between their "mundane" identity and the identity of the self that is interacting with their god(s). I use this name when I am participating in any spiritual practice such as private meditation, a ritual, or the creation and maintenance of this website. The ideas and experiences of Galena inspired this site, but the contents of the site express my thoughts as both Regina and Galena. Hopefully, you will be able to use the fruits of my journey on your own paths of discovery.

Galena's Journey is intended to spark dialog and promote the values of a diverse human community. The ideas I explore and discuss here are my own, but I welcome and invite others' opinions, ideas, and suggestions.

Blessed be.
