Note: All this software is Post Card-ware. My son is doing a project in school and needs post cards from many different states, If you use or have used my software, then please send a postcard (preferably one that depicts the state you are in (like tourist postcards), but I think a QSL would be better!) Write a sentence or two including something unique about that state and the state capital. That's It. Please mail them to: David Schaefer, c/o Mr. Paradise's Class McKinley School 500 First St. Westfield, NJ 07090-4123

Tom's Software Project Page

Being a professional programmer and a tinkerer, I cannot resist building little pieces of usable software for other to use. Typically, these involve classes for other programmers or a DLL for someone to drop into an application and use.

Released Projects

MapPoint2002 Delphi Class

This ZIP file contains a basic Delphi class file for Microsof't Mappoint 2002. This class contains the interface to call MapPoint 2002 from an OLE container or as a late-bound COM component.

DLL Interface to Online callbook server (This has been temporarily removed)

This file is a drop-in replacement to the "big three" callbook server DLLs. The idea is that most newer logging programs use a DLL to access their callbook. Some programs support QRZ, Flying Horse (RAC), or Buckmaster (or all). This DLL can be renamed to the correct one and instead of going to a callbook CD-ROM, the logging program goes to the Internet to lookup the callsign. Full installations instructions are available in the ZIP file.

DLL to submit eQSL records in real-time

This DLL allows a program to call it and send an ADIF record in the proper format to the real-time interface on eQSL.cc. This can be freely used by other logging programs. The only stipulation is that if you use it, you have to send me a licensed version of the software (I like new software as much as the next guy).

Instruction on How to setup TRLog with WinTelnetX for DX Spots via the Internet

This ZIP file explains how to setup TRLog so you can use WinTelnetX to get spots from the Internet and forward them onto another computer running TR.
