Zimbra Email Delays Resolved
---------------------

XMission email hosting customers experienced delays and even some problems
sending email starting at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 17th 
until about 5:30 p.m. 

Details
-------
The problem started when a customer that recently moved to our Zimbra
service sent a very large mass mailing. Unfortunately, we had not fully
configured the mail server which handles email processing for our Zimbra
customers (mta1.zcs.xmission.com) to handle heavy loads. As a result, we
hit a bottleneck and our mail administrators required time to make all of
the necessary configuration changes and get the backed-up email cleared
out. We are now confident the affected machine is adjusted to properly
handle heavy mail volume.

Conclusion
----------
We apologize for this problem and recognize that some customers were
particularly affected. Please know that we are confident this problem
should not happen again.
