From support@xmission.com Tue Nov 25 10:48:32 MST 2008 Date: Tue, 25 Nov 2008 10:48:32 MST From: XMission SupportTo: announce@xmission.com Subject: ANNOUNCEMENT: Thanksgiving Day Holiday Status: RO Thanksgiving Day Holiday ------------------------ XMission's offices will be closed on Thursday, November 27th and Friday, November 28th in recognition of Thanksgiving. A technician will be available to handle systems-critical issues, should any arise. Holiday Details --------------- To ensure that customers with dire emergencies can be helped as promptly as possible on holidays, XMission fields calls to our technical support department through our voicemail system. If you have a critical emergency on a holiday, and call for technical support during these hours, you will be greeted with a message that details our emergency support policy for holidays and let you leave a voicemail. Our on-site tech reviews each message and quickly calls back those with critical issues. Please understand that our single on-site technician can only help with dire emergencies while we are closed and that normal and advanced needs should be taken care of on a regular business day. Colocation and Frame Relay/PTP customers should have an alternate emergency number they can call. If you are such a customer and do not have it, please contact us during normal business hours so we can provide you with our "emergency NOC" number. Note that XMission has a new policy to never do maintenance during a holiday. Maintenance is scheduled in advance and customers can join a mailing list to be notified of scheduled maintenance events and outages via our status page: http://stats.xmission.com/netstatus/ Looking for more speed? Businesses can combine two DSL lines together for faster speeds with XMission's Bonded DSL product. For more info, please email mandy@xmission.com. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ This has been an XMission Announcement. What our customers are saying:
—Tom Clay“XMission has been providing me service for over 12 years. Over that time, I've had 3 technical problems, and 2 of them were my fault. That's better than 99.999% successful. I recommend you to all of my clients.”
