My thanks to all the hardy club members who braved my bad directions to find the camp site. The nights were chilly but the sky was full of stars. We soaked in the hot pools on Sat morning before walking downtown for lunch. Sat nights dinner at The Shed was the best.. I hope we can schedule more weekend trips to this great little town in the future. regards Jeff __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! I enjoyed your company and thanks for being so friendly to Madison, my 8-year old step daughter, who was the Belle of the Ball. --Gavin At 03:49 PM 10/1/2003 -0700, Jeff S. wrote: >BB'ers > > What a fantastic weekend! There is absolutely nothing better than a beautiful fall day, a great set of roads, and the company of two good friends-- Crit and Das Amsdel, my trusty R11RSL. One of the things we were pleasantly surprised at was the beautiful condition of all the roads we took-- new pavement, fresh striping, and unparalleled grip ('cept for the cow flops!). If you haven't ridden these roads yet this year, you really need to call in sick and take a long afternoon/short day and go ride. I left Logan about 7:35 am, met Crit at the shop before nine, and was home again in Logan before 6:00 pm for a leisurely 500 mile day. My only regret is that I can't take off Thursday to join Crit for the trip to California. :^( Go Ride, while the weather is still cooperating! There seemed to be an excellent exchange of ideas and there was a sharing of tire changing experiences from almost everyone in attendance. I probably learned as much as anyone. I'd like to see the clinics continue throughout the winter months on subjects such as GPS options & programming, communication systems, wiring of auxiliary lights, and any other topics related to the general care and feeding of our brand.
