I have just been through an experience that I would wish upon no one, but the good that came out of it was thinking of your shire and the graciousness that you have shown to me and others in the past.

To put it simply, I have seen your shire reach out to strangers and those who are in need and take of them by saying "Hello" and making them feel welcomed.  On a recent trip to another area, I was approached by people less than a hand full of people who started any kind of conversation with me or a friend with me and those conversations did not last long.  Truthfully I would regret going to that activity except for the fact that I remembered you and have vowed to our King and Queen to do my best to make people feel comfortable here in this kingdom.

Thank you again!

Grateful for your hospitality and hoping for the chance to return it sometime, I remain....

I hope that you can help me. I had asked for crash space for this weekend, and on the Aerie there was a note that this request was replied to privately. However, I have not received any such reply. I will be home after 9:00 pm or so tonight, and checking my e:mail again in the morning. Thanks. But if nothing else we've got a spare bed etc, and could host her if no one else is available. Angus P.S. That's not to say we wouldn't like to have her over, just that it would be quite inconvenient for her to get to our place.
