We got a message at w*rk that some bozo was sending out a 10MB attachement!!!!! He tangled our whole company's email system. Personally I'd like to know prior to receiving ANY attachment over 1MB. Some folks don't seem to realize, but sending a large attachment can crash an email account if the attachment is larger than the space allocated by the email provider.....usually 1MB. That used to happen regularly to me and I now am "crash proof" up to 3MB (by paying extra). Also, my provider seems to have started filtering any attachments over 1MB. I didn't receive the .exe file (thanks to the filter)......and thanks but no thanks. - - - ------------------------------------------------------------ Thanks for using Fractint, The Fractals and Fractint Discussion List Post Message: fractint@xmission.com Get Commands: majordomo@xmission.com "help" Administrator: twegner@phoenix.net Unsubscribe: majordomo@xmission.com "unsubscribe fractint" ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 23 Dec 1997 21:11:56 -0500 (EST) From: A M Kelley Subject: Re: (fractint) Merry X-mas I figured somebody would.
