I'm sorry, but since we're on this topic of the future
and Kraftwerk, can someone please explain to me
what is so exceptional about Richard James (aphex, polygon blah
blah).  I don't put him in the same class as Kraftwerk, first of
all.  I don't really find anything that I've heard by him to
be all that groundbreaking either..  earlier stuff reminded
me of old Cabaret Voltaire and other brit experimental
electronic stuff...  I guess I don't get it when it comes to
him.  Yet everybody talks about him like he's the 2nd coming
of christ.   And I too am most encouraged by new material
from Ralf and Florian etc...   even if it is just a 'jingle'
