The CD is available until Kraftwerk disbands and as I said before all profits and proceeds are being given to the Shriner's Hospital for Burned & Crippled Children in the United States as a charitable donation (Chicago to be exact, I'm originally from Illinois)... so I have nothing to gain from it for my personal life (and for those of you who are Freemasons you may check the Grand Lodge in Illinois about this donation). I've already sent two, one going to Singapore and another to Michigan. And for those who will be receiving it, you comments are always appreciated. I just listened to the ORBITAL "Orbital", the LFO "Advance" and the KRAFTWERK "Electric Cafe" CDs and the picture that comes repeatedly to my mind is that all the other "techno" bands that I know remind me of the VGA computer resolution but when I listen to KRAFTWERK it reminds me of SVGA computer resolution! Don't get me wrong. I like those 2 other CDs and "Electric Cafe" is not my favorite KW CD, but when I listen to it I get the feeling that it is more "complete", that I am more "complete" just by listening to it. I can hear more in it. I can see more in it. I feel that there is a "concept" behind it, but it is nevertheless simple and "visceral" music. KRAFTWERK makes "extraordinary" music, and I can't wait to hear a new CD from them. I don't care if it will be "remix", "live", or "new" material, I will sure get it and enjoy it! - -- Roger.
