August 21st, that's about 2 and a half weeks now. I've heard that ffrr us won't be releasing it, so it's import only over there. I gather they have an email address (ffrr1@aol.com?); you might try to get them to change their minds. > I also heard about a possible rework of Snivalisation does anyone have > any other information No, what's the source of this? I don't have any particular objection to this, but it really isn't necaessary. There are plenty of mail filtering packages out there that'll sort incoming mail by sender. The first track, "Times Fly (slow)" was played on the Radio 1 interactive night (so if you heard it there you might recognise it). Sort of light-jungle / techno crossover. Then there's a "Fast" mix of this, which sounds a little more drum'n'bass- styled. Also there's a remix of "Sad but True" (again from the R1 night, minus most of the samples of John Major), sort of mellow/melancholy and another brand new track, "The Tranquiliser", which is pretty good too, all fizzy electronica and a somewhat cheesy intro. Overall, definitely much better than the (lacklustre?) "Are We Here?" mixes. It's out on Monday anyway, and the indie weeklies seemed to like it. As for the web site, it's pretty good but seems very slow in downloading stuff. ps I'm still honing my reviewing skills.
