I DO agree there is a place to SELL rather then Auctionne and may work up a sales area at some point in the future...so far our attempts to incorporate in into the Auctionne has crashed it, but perhaps along side... Contact an eBay Member Feature Today, you can obtain an email address if you're not the buyer or seller in a specific transaction by taking the following steps: Click on the User ID Request the email address (as long as the User ID is not an email address), and then Click on the email address and enter your message The new process will allow you to send email to other members this way: Click on the User ID Fill out the new Contact an eBay Member form (shown below). After entering your message and clicking the Send button, eBay will forward the message to your recipient. This is similar to the "mail this auction to a friend" feature. The message received by your recipient will contain your email address so that he/she can respond to you directly. The reply goes through the recipient's mail provider and will not go through eBay. The message will also contain the following note: This email was sent by an eBay member via eBay's email forwarding system. If you reply to the email, your response will go directly to the member. eBay does not tolerate spam (i.e., unsolicited, commercial email) and is taking steps to protect members from this abuse. In addition, solicitations to buy or sell items outside of eBay violate eBay rules and are not covered by services that protect members such as feedback, insurance, escrow, and dispute resolution. If this is an offer to buy/sell items outside of eBay, please do not participate. ***** Ah well, it was fun while it lasted...;) Lynne Lynne Stewart http://www.jklm.net/index.html KLM Enterprises, Inc. Im assuming this is the part you decribed as the mailer doesn't send out from people you know are subscribed to the list. And then you have to do it manually somehow. right? Dean Beckstein-beckstein69@hotmail.com bounced a check for $286 (Total of $291 after bounced check fees). He received from me Mirror mirror boxes and several Auctionne wins. The boxes I bought to fill his order, the Auctionne items were consignments I'd already paid the sellers for, there was little profit in any of it (not that that makes it any easier to write off regardless of how much profit is involved) I really thought he intended to make good, I was perhaps more patient then I should have been, but now I'm PISSED...;) I want the Auctionne to be a good place to come and regret it when people don't wanna play by my simple rules, bid...pay...ship...simple, right???!!!! It's a hobby, but the money is very real and the responsibilities of both buyers and sellers is very real... Lynne Lynne Stewart http://www.jklm.net/index.html KLM Enterprises, Inc. It wasn't until it bounced that it occurred to me earlier payments had been money orders. Still, if he assumed he hadn't received anything from me cause the check bounced and I assumed he was stiffing me on payment for items already received, I can see (MAYBE) where we missed each other on the urgency scale. Still....let's assume he didn't receive the packages...one (the boxes) were shipped for me by a friend of mine in NY. I sent the rest in a smaller package from here. Both get lost? Because the buyer was someone I knew, I did not wait for the check to clear (insert Gosh she's stupid here). The product purchased consisted of two packages, one shipped by me and the bulk from another dealer (The customer wanted boxes I didn't have so I ordered the boxes from a friend of mine. To cut down on shipping, he shipped direct to the customer, I shipped the rest of the order.) The bulk of the order is insured ($200). My part was not insured. I paid the friend his share immediately. On January 8th, I notified the buyer his check bounced. He apologized and said he would send payment Friday. Friday came, excuse (not as much in paycheck as he expected)...send next paycheck, next paycheck came, same excuse. I was pretty upset by then, esp., since he continued to win auctionnes and it seemed kinda cruel to rack up more debt with the other not paid for. I offered payment plans, etc. Finally, after nothing, near the end of January. I sent an email stating that payment must be received NO LATER then the 10th or I would consider other option. He responded that payment would be out by the first. The 10th came and went and I began the process of bad bidderdom, listing on the Auctionne, and newsgroups. The day after the 10th , I got a frustrated email saying it wasn't fair to take this public that he said he'd have payment out BY the 10th (since when did people in the wrong get to change the rules??) and, oh by the way, he says he never got the stuff. This FLOORED me. Up to now, the concept that he'd either never get the stuff (or SAY he never got the stuff) never occurred to me and I'm fully at a loss..... IF IF IF we assume he never got the stuff (two packages sent from two different addresses????) then what do I do? In my opinion, being a slow payer is NOT in the same league as being a thief who took my $300 worth of stuff and I would have never gone public and banned access to the Auctionne for this lesser issue. But, until he said this, it never occurred to me he didn't get it. Looking over our emails, I never sent him (that I can find) a note clearly stating that the items were shipped and an email from him about two weeks ago sorta implies he didn't get them (but I didn't read it that way at the time..something about not canceling the deal because of this) Apparently, he is in the military stationed in Korea. (AN APO box is Kentucky is where I sent it and where I thought he was) and I'm not sure what APO service is like. Supposedly payment went out on the 7th. What do I do with it? If it arrives? Do I send it back and wait for the insurance to pay me. Do I have the insurance sent to him? Do we do business again in the future? He wants to, I'm DRAINED with it all...... (and still 5 days to go!) You have got to be kidding me!!! Most of us wouldn't think of buying this card since it's been "torn" from it's original 9 card sheet. Heck, this card came out in SI for Kids... That means there were thousands of them produced, and just because he's had it graded it's all of the sudden one of the most "limited" Tiger Woods cards out there? Why does grading it make it limited??? Just because most people don't have theirs graded? This is 60 days later and this Idiot is still waiting for payment. Dah! Well, Now im being stringed along again. This time in the hopes that the guy from australia didn't send payment as promised to Idiot. Idiot is suppose to get back to me ASAP. I've always questioned the authenticity of this set. They have never been hard to find. Around 1995 I bought 12 sets of these for around $10-12/ea and I know the company I bought them from had lots of them available.
