I was poking around the Yello home page the other day and noticed that Essential Yello now includes the Jingle Bells track. When did this take place? Several other references show that Essential is now called Christmas Essential Yello. I generally try to keep up with Yello's new releases, re-releases, singles but this one slipped by me. Did anything else change on Essential? Any new mixes? And while I'm on the line, I hope all of you out there have a great holiday season, and a great new year! - - # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Email majordomo@xmission.com with "info yello" in the message. # Postings must go to yello@xmission.com -- replies go to original sender. # Yello discography available at http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?yello ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Dec 1997 23:23:33 +0100 From: "Jonas Warstad" Subject: Re: (yello) "Daily Disco" Lyrics > [The] pulsing light create some sense > I can't hear the word 'the' (or its alternative 'a') I'd put my bets on "A pulsing light, creating some sense" > >It's cold, it's too cold *out here* It's definitely "It's cold, it's too cold without you" Where's your sense of romance, Mark? :-) JW - - # Need help using (or leaving) this mailing list? # Email majordomo@xmission.com with "info yello" in the message. # Postings must go to yello@xmission.com -- replies go to original sender. # Yello discography available at http://www.swcp.com/lazlo-bin/discogs?yello ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 15 Dec 1997 23:11:43 +0100 From: "Jonas Warstad" Subject: Re: (yello) Updated Essential... Jingle Bells was an X-Mas single for Disney's Santa Clause movie in 1995. Mercury decided to relaunch Essentials (at a nice price) with this track (and Tremendous Pain) as "bonus tracks". Hi everybody! Are there any Yello songs in MP3 format on the net? He knows Mercury in Hamburg owns the copyright to all of Yello's songs, and it's obviously illegal to make these songs available. Yello's music is well worth paying for. Boris is working long and hard on each song, and making them available for free in MP3 is an insult both to him and to the inherent quality of his songs (MP3 reduces the amount of data by 90 %).
