An Iranian-speaking people of the steppe northeast of the Black Sea. Hobbies included horses, raiding across the Caucasus, and horses.About 370 AD the Huns moved into the neighborhood, causing some to flee west to ally with the Vandals and Suevi. The rest remained and pledged loyalty to the Huns, hid, or dispersed into mercenary and raiding bands.
