More barbarians. Migrating to Europe from Asia in the 3rd or 2nd millenium BCE, they followed the Germanic peoples' migrations to the south and west in our time period and after.The head of most of their pantheons was Perun or Prone, the god of thunder, an equivalent to the Norse Thor. Ritual functions included the vehicles of the ax, he-goat, bull, dove, and cuckoo, and often centered around ancestor-worship and fertility - and occasionally human sacrifice.
