Meet the Staff
In an effort to strengthen the relationship with our clientel, we have assembled this brief introduction to the Borge Andersen Photo • Digital staff. This list is alphabetical.

	Borge Andersen Proprietor Ext. 230 • borge@borge.net Originally from Denmark, Borge Andersen has over 50 years of photographic experience. He worked as a newspaper photographer for 15 years and 1968 opened Borge B. Andersen and Associates, a small photo house and photographic studio. Over the years Borge’s firm, now called Borge Andersen Photo • Digital, has become a leader in Salt Lake photographic and digital services.
	Ane Asper Financial Business Administrator Ext. 255 • ane@borge.net With over 30 years experience in the industry, Ane is adept at multi-tasking and can be found providing customer service and overseeing the firm’s daily financial aspects. She’s the mother of three; with five grandchildren, an expert Danish cook and an exceptional hostess.
	Rick Asper Digital Services Department Head Ext. 266 • rick@borge.net Our resident electronic and computer fix-it wizard, Rick has over 33 years of experience in the industry and has been instrumental in helping move the firm into the digital age of photography. Rick is currently an undergrad in Biology, is a ham radio operator, enjoys garden railroads and has a passion for pinhole photography.
	Jane Ball Public Relations Director Ext. 244 • jane@borge.net Jane holds a BS in Communications and has over 15 years experience in the industry. She is also a Licensed Massage Therapist, dog lover and animal massager. Jane was reincarnated from Asian ancestry.
	Ed Bateman Digital Retouch and Restoration Ext. 266 • ed@borge.net One of the ‘Founding Fathers’ of our digital department, Ed holds a BFA and MFA in Fine Art and has over 20 years industry experience. Ed teaches in the Arts Technology program at the University of Utah and harbors a strong dislike for red foods. He has been known to go by the name Captain Eddie: Astronaut.
	Andrew Battenfield Scan Technician • Digital Retouch and Restoration Ext. 246 • andy@borge.net Andrew has a BFA from Brigham Young University and has over 17 years of experience in the industry. He enjoys watching his sons play sports, history and rides anything with two wheels.
	Colby Crossland D-print Technician Ext. 270 The youngest among our employees, Colby has 6 years photographic experience and is currently studying photography at the Salt Lake Community College. He likes to keep his eye on the fasion world as well as the music industry and loves vintage scooters. Colby also has a thing for mannequin heads.
	Chris Disabato C-41 Technician Ext. 242 Currently an undergrad in Editorial Journalism, Chris has over five years industry experience and has studied photography at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Chris is also a ‘snowboarding freak’.
	Curtis Dorney E-6 Processing Department Head Ext. 240 Curtis has over 17 years experience in the industry. He’s also a Certified Small Engine Repair technician, holds a CDL Truck License and is the youngest Eagle Scout in his troop.
	Vaughn Dorney E-6 Processing • Evening Run Supervisor Ext. 240 • (801) 534-0965 After Hours Number Vaughn has over 23 years experience in the industry. He’s adept at processing machinery repair and enjoys the outdoors. In his spare time, Vaughn can be found hiking in the Utah wilderness.
	Jim Frankoski Color Reproduction • Giclée Print Specialist Ext. 267 With over 29 years of experience in the industry, Jim’s expertise is in fine art copy work but he’s also now enjoying the challenge of Giclée production and printing. Jim holds a BS in Psychology… How does that make you feel? Jim is a meditation guru who loves gardening. His personal work can be found on exhibit at Local Colors.
	Ray X. Graham Digital Retouch and Restoration • Web Design Ext. 246 • ray@borge.net With over 8 years digital industry experience, Ray is adept at retouch and restoration. He has a keen eye for design and loves applying his quirky design sense to innumerable personal projects. Ray enjoys going to the movies, writing and is a published cartoonist.
	Mario Granados E-6 Technician Ext. 240 Mario has 2 years experience in the industry and speaks Spanish fluently. He enjoys writing poetry, arc welding and is an avid Freddy Kruger fan.
	Barclay Hastings C-41 Processing Department Head Ext. 241 • barclay@borge.net Barclay has over 28 years of industry experience and holds a BFA, MFA in Photography, and a Certificate in Alternative Dispute & Mediation. Barclay is a University of Utah Communication Photography instructor and is a token Quaker. His personal work is on exhibit at Local Colors.
	Chris Jameson D-Print Department Head Ext. 270 With 4 years experience in the industry, Chris graduated from the Salt Lake Community College in Photography and has been a freelance photographic assistant for over five years. Chris hates wearing socks.
	Diane Limberg Sales Associate Ext. 271 With 26 years industry experience, Diane was a Food Stylist until the digital takeover. Diane is a die-hard University of Utah sports fan and a holiday specialist with her own May Pole Dances and St. Patrick’s Day green Jell-o cubes.
	Helen Patterson Telephone Customer Service Ext. 229 Helen has over 10 years experience in the industry and 34 years as a commercial art office administrator. An optimist by nature, Helen is a professional baby-sitter, having 19 great grandchildren. She enjoys reading and has traveled to six of the seven continents.
	Anthony Siciliano Digital Photographic Retouch and Restoration Ext. 246 • anthony@borge.net With over 15 years industry experience, Anthony holds a BFA, MFA in Photography and teaches photography and digital imaging at Westminster College and Salt Lake Community College. Anthony enjoys reading historical novels and creating fascinating mixed media fine art.
	Jan Stevenson Studio Photography Manager and Photographer Ext. 228 • jan@borge.net Jan holds a BA in English Literature and has over 27 years industry experience. The outdoorsy type, Jan enjoys spending time with her dog George and working in her garden.
	Charlotte Stewart Business Office Manager Ext. 226 Charlotte holds a BS in Business Management and has over 26 years experience in the industry. She loves to do volunteer work with youth groups and cherishes her experiences with the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Winter Games .
	John Taylor Black and White Technician • Digital Studio Assistant With 5 years experience in the industry, John is continuing his studies in Photography at the Salt Lake Community College. A bingo enthusiast, John is addicted to Polaroid.
	Al Thelin Custom Black and White • Slide Department Head and Preservation Specialist Ext. 233 With 34 years experience in the industry, Al a restoration expert, holds a BA in Journalism and a Masters in Children’s Theatre. Al is Swedish, a historical re-enactment enthusiast and a certified ‘choco-holic’. His personal work is on exhibit at Local Colors.
	Eve Tyler-Hanig Sales Associate Ext. 271 Eve holds a BFA in Photography and Interned with Annie Leibovitz. Eve is a Boston Massachusetts transplant and certified scuba diver. Eve’s nickname is… Steve.
	Christian Werner Lambda Department Head • Finishing Specialist Ext. 234 • christian@borge.net Christian holds a BFA in Photography, has worked in commercial design, graphics and digital photography and is an Emergency Health Medicine instructor. Christian enjoys playing the electric guitar and singing in his band.
