Question:

How to disable Microsoft Word AutoCorrect feature.

Answer:

  1. Open Microsoft Word.
  2. Click Format and then AutoFormat.
  3. Click the Options... button
  4. Click the AutoCorrect tab.

Within this section of the AutoCorrect, a user will be able to disable features he or she dislikes, such as the auto capitalization of first letters of sentences and/or disable this feature all together.

In addition to disabling / enabling AutoCorrect features, users can also add new automatic corrections on words they commonly mistype and/or remove words they do not wish to automatically correct.
