Add/Remove Programs

Section of Microsoft Windows found in the Control Panel that allows users to view all software programs installed on their computer and selectively remove programs they either no longer use or want on their computer. Microsoft first introduced this feature with Microsoft Windows 95 that was later renamed to Add or Remove programs in all versions of Windows introduced after Windows 98, and then finally a feature moved into Programs and Features in Windows Vista.
