Anamorphic

When referring to DVD movies, anamorphic is an ability that enables a DVD to automatically increase its size to match that of the TV the movie is being displayed on. This allows for better resolution and a better viewing experience. Most DVDs that support this feature will be labeled as Anamorphic Widescreen.
