AutoPlay

Also known as autorun, AutoPlay is a feature that was first introduced in Microsoft Windows 95 and above that enables CDs that have the proper files to automatically run when inserted into the computer. This feature enables for a much easier setup and/or program execution because the program developer can easily start the installation of a program or create a menu that is automatically displayed when the CD is inserted.
