Hunt and peck

A term used to describe a type of typing where the user needs to look at (hunt) his or her keyboard for where a key is located. Once located the user then presses (pecks) the key. Often users that type this way use a single finger on each hand to two-finger type. Users who type this way will always be slower then most touch typers.
