Tabbed browsing

Type of browsing that enables a user to browse multiple pages in one window. This feature is great for users who do not want to have multiple browser windows open and also a great way to have web pages open in the background without interrupting your viewing on the current page. In the image to the right you can see that the Firefox window has two tabs open. The tabs are right above the browser window.

Tip: Browsers that support tabbed browsing such as Mozilla Firefox and Opera also support the ability to open a new tab by clicking any link on a web page with your middle-button (mouse wheel).

Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7
