Word 2002 overview

Microsoft Word 2002 is the latest installment of the Microsoft Word families. Word 2002 adds new features such as translations, voice commands, water marks, smart tags and various other new features that are not found in previous versions of Microsoft Word.

We believe that users who are using Microsoft Word 2000 may not find it necessary to upgrade to Microsoft Word 2002 unless they need the above new features.

Word 2000 overview

Microsoft Word is a computer word processor software program that allows users to create professional looking documents, reports, letters, rsum's, etc.

Microsoft Word 2000 has several new features not found in previous versions of Microsoft Word, such as HTML abilities that allow users to create web pages and documents through Word, new spelling and grammar features that allow you to display errors on the page without having to run spell check or grammar check. In addition, Microsoft Word 2000 has a new look and feel that all Microsoft 2000 products bring to a computer.

Memory:	24MB RAM for Windows 98 users 32MB RAM for Windows ME / NT 4.0 / 2000 218MB RAM for speech recognition
Drives:	150MB of hard disk drive space for default installation 4x CD-ROM Drive
Sound:	Multimedia computer required for sound and other multimedia effects.
Video:	Super VGA (800 x 600) 256 colors or higher-resolution
Controls:	Keyboard and Mouse
Operating System:	Windows 98 / Windows NT Workstation 4.0 with SP3 / 2000
Other:	Graphics tablet recommended for handwriting input features. Close-talk microphone for audio-output device required for speech recognition
