Unable to locate the escaping trio, a furious Dodoria launches a blast from the air that obliterates everything in the area! However, Kuririn manages to react in time to get everyone to safety, and they watch as Dodoria returns to Freeza's location. Before he arrives, however, he is again blindsided and knocked to the ground. Picking himself up, he sees that this time his attacker is — Vegeta! Vegeta explains that he had been waiting for Dodoria to get separated from Freeza so he could pick him off.

     With Vegeta's newfound strength, Dodoria is no match for him, and begins to beg for his life. He reveals that the planet Vegeta was not destroyed by meteoric collison, as everyone believed, but was destroyed by Freeza himself! Expecting Vegeta to be shocked by this news, Dodoria runs for his life. However, the cold-hearted Saiyan is unimpressed by Dodoria's revelation, and finishes him off with a single blast! Elsewhere, Bulma takes a bath and radios her father, who tells her that Goku is on his way.
