John Clymer came to our national rendezvous way back when.  I forget the
year but it was probably in the early 80's.  You are right that he
painted some very authentic pictures and he took a great interest in the
AMM and out attempt to recreate that period.  I have never been in his
studio but I have seen pictures of it and he had a whole room full of
"authentic" props. In light of the beautiful work he did I can easily
forgive him for any minor authenticity errors.
