With a proper diet and regular dental checkups, your pet can have healthy teeth throughout his life.  Our veterinarians will help you decide when your pet will need its teeth cleaned.  This procedure is done much the same way as your dentist cleans your teeth.  Because of the nature of most animals, your pet will need to have a light anesthetic to allow the doctors to clean its teeth.

We recommend that blood work be done in animals over 8 years of age prior to the cleaning to assess the health of your pet's kidneys and liver.
