Pets at Animal Care Veterinary Hospital are encouraged to have a yearly examination.  Vaccinations are given at this time to encourage prevention against diseases and for the overall health of the animals.  A puppy care plan and a kitten care plan are offered, providing all the vaccinations and health care that are necessary for the first year of life.

Our veterinarians want to check your pets to make sure they are healthy.  Each examination may include an evaluation of the health of the skin and coat, listening to the heart and lungs, checking the lymph nodes, looking at the ears, eyes, teeth and gums.

This examination is a good time for you as a pet owner to discuss with the veterinarian your pet's nutritional needs, behavioral problems, and any other questions that you may have.
