Your first source of info is the net itself and you can collect a lot of data from the cybercafe lists, hotels that have e-mail addresses, service providers, libraries. Then you could ask friends and cyberfriends, they may point to things you never knew before. Also, a few phone calls may go a long way. Moreover, once you have gone through it and are listed with Net on The Road people will simply register their access places and numbers with you.
The event of the city is any activity that serves as a meeting ground for net surfers who happen to be in the same city while traveling.
It should be a daytime activity that almost every visitor to your town would like to attend.
So, even if there's no surfer around, the visitor should be able and willing to attend it. If this is a city tour or other commercial activity it should be as cheap as possible and preferably the tour or event organizer should be giving a significant discount to net surfers. We will try to list the cheapest possible activity as long as it fits our criteria.
Think about it as nice opportunity to have a chat with fellow surfers while visiting a city. One last thing, if you think Net on The Road is cool, spread the word as far as possible and we'll cover the globe faster.
We may refuse to list any page at our discretion. Since there will be one link for each city we will keep only the most up-to-date links. We advise you to update your data frequently enough to provide a helpful resource for travelers.
