The Intermountain Acoustic Music Association (IAMA) is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to the preservation, furtherance and spread of acoustic music, including bluegrass, British isles, folk, old-time and related musical forms. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, with General Officers, and has a Magazine Staff responsible for the Intermountain Acoustic Musician monthly member newsletter. IAMA sponsors many concerts, seminars and workshops so be sure to check out IAMA's Event Calendar. IAMA welcomes New Members.

Murray Cultural Arts and IAMA present the Murray Acoustic Festival at the Murray Park Amphitheater (495 East 5300 south)- Sept. 1, 2008 (Monday) at 6:00pm.  Featured groups are Kate MacLeod Duo, Blue Sage Trio and Red Desert Ramblers. This festival is now part of the IAMA Local Concert Series. $5.
