The Intermountain Acoustic Music Association (IAMA) is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization dedicated to the preservation, furtherance and spread of acoustic music, including bluegrass, British isles, folk, old-time and related musical forms. It is governed by a Board of Trustees, with General Officers, and has a Magazine Staff responsible for the Intermountain Acoustic Musician monthly member newsletter. Murray Cultural Arts and IAMA present the Murray Acoustic Festival at the Murray Park Amphitheater (495 East 5300 south)- Sept. 1, 2008 (Monday) at 6:00pm.  Featured groups are Kate MacLeod Duo, Blue Sage Trio and Red Desert Ramblers. This festival is now part of the IAMA Local Concert Series. $5.
