We offer preschool (starting age: 3 yrs old ), Pre-Kindergarten (starting age: 4), and KG through 4th grades. We currently have openings for all levels.
To enroll your child or request additional details, please contact the school office at 801-886-2310 8:30-3:00 M-Th, or 8:30 - 1:00 Fridays.

NEWS

There have been many changes at Iqra Academy this fall.
We have been very busy getting things back in order for this school year, and we are now inviting parents and other community members to visit and tour the school. We appreciate getting a telephone call prior to your arrival, so we can ensure that a staff member will be available for your visit.

Updates:

Elections for Iqra Board of Directors will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2009.

Please participate! Nine Board members are to be elected, each to start a term of three years.

The qualifications for Board members are posted at Masjid Khadijah and Masjid al-Noor.
Nomination deadline is 5:00 p.m., Sunday, November 8, 2009.

Any member of the Trust, the Board of Directors, or the Executive Committee, who wishes to run for the Iqra Board, must resign from their existing position before they submit their nomination for Iqra Board. This is a one-time exception allowed in the last General Body meeting, held on October 18, 2009. In the future, any member who resigns from any official position of the Islamic Society (such as the Trust, the BOD, the EC, or the Iqra Board), shall not be allowed to run for any position in the next elections of the Islamic Society, as per the Society's By-laws.
