metamorphic rock and Paleozoic sediments.

Drive up Ogden Canyon and turn left across
the dam at Pineview reservoir. Park along the highway where space
permits, and walk along the roadcuts watching for white nodules in

Take Utah highway 39 along the south side
of Pineview Reservoir, through Huntsville, and up the valley of the
South Fork of the Ogden River until you reach the turnoff for Causey
Reservoir and Camp Kiesel. Follow this road along the west side of
Causey Reservoir to the lake headwaters near the boy scout camp. Outcrops
of the Lodgepole formation are found above the public toilets in this
area. |
