<body> <h2> Mountain Biking Lhasa to Kathmandu </h2> <p>Our group of six mountain bike riders (and one non-rider) rode the Friendship Highway from Lhasa to Kathmandu in three weeks, starting in late September 1999. We used a support vehicle hired in Lhasa to carry our gear. We also did a a four day side trip to Everest Basecamp.
