Currently, any time not spent in school or playing with my fandoms, is spent at work.
I can't say I particulary love working, but I do seem to collect jobs almost as fast as I collect
web pages. Since starting grad school, I have worked at a variety of jobs, usually
several at the same time. My list includes: several brands of tutoring, tele-research,
general office work, grading term papers and finals, and freelance editing.
Primarily through all of this
I have worked for Wisconsin Tele-Relay System
as a Communications Assistant (CA). Since I've been there since January '99, I've moved up the
ranks, such as they are. While I'm a default vampire, er, third-shift worker, I'm also a supervisor aide
(alone), mentor, facilitator, and spanish-to-spanish.
