About the Author
Matt Crymble is currently a student at East Tennessee State University.
He is studying Criminal Justice, and aspires to work someday within the Justice
System. Matt is currently employed as a bouncer in a Pub local to the college
campus.
Matt has played Star Frontiers (the universe base for these works) since
its earliest days. Being an avid science fiction fan, he and his friends used
the game to enhance their creative talents. Of course, some might say that
they wasted an enormous amount of time. The truth is probably somewhere in the
middle.
In his writing, Matt usually uses real life experiences as a basis for
his story perceptions. Some of Matt's experiences include the following:
- Matt spent three years with Atlantic Southeast Airlines (Delta) and
learned about aircraft and aerospace technology. (Actually he just worked on
the ground, but you can learn a lot from that too.)
- Matt has played the sport of paintball since the late 80s. He finds the
sport enjoyable today, but unfortunately rarely has time to pursue this.
- Matt is a student of the martial arts and has studied several different
styles with varying degrees of success. Kendo and swordsmanship skills have
become the main focus of his studies more recently.
- Matt has worked as a bouncer for several of these more recent college
years, and has worked in three different establishments. (You have to go where
the money is.)
- More recently, Matt has gotten into Mountain Biking. Matt usually rides a
Raleigh Sheer tricked out for heavy off road use. Unfortunately, the bike is
often better suited to riding than the rider. This is most noticeable on those
long uphills.
Matt's works are unsolicited and his efforts go unpaid. He does enjoy
getting e-mail from people about his works or any of the above interests. If
you have enjoyed any of the material by him, you might drop him a line and let
him know.
