Section 5: Another Crash

The PC's arise at 18:00 to ready the jetcopter. Wilson and his companion take the following equipment with them from Discovery's stores:

2 IR Goggles
2 extinguish grenades
5 infra grenades
Seismic scanner (if Streedef goes along)
15 days of foodstuffs each
1 infla-tent
15 inflation cannisters
30 hot ration packs
2 toxy-rads
2 ponchos
2 blankets

Before the day is out, the jetcopter will also come under attack of the Tetrarch lasers. The Tetrarchs will shoot down anything flying over the area depicted by the map.

They set out at sunrise, flying east. You all help Tredd work on the ship, until at 4:30, the radiophone on Discovery's bridge comes alive.
"Mayday, Mayday! We have been struck by some kind of energy weapon and are going down!" CRASH!!!!!!!
You hear (Streedef's) voice. "We've crashed, but <static> Wilson's hurt <static> <static> about 170 km east northeast <static>"

Substitute whoever went along with Wilson for "Streedef's" voice.

The jetcopter has crashed at point #9 on the map. Wilson is hurt, but his companion has staydosed him and will stabilize his condition with Medical - Wounds I. He requires assistance in Discovery's infirmary to recover fully (if his companion is Braeme, assume that his medkit was wrecked in the crash). He cannot walk. The PC's will have to go out in the Explorer to get him. Tredd must stay behind to continue repairs. If possible, one other NPC should stay with him.
