The Vrusk quivers and twitches in his own fluids next to the bar as
several of the patrons continue to throw punches and anything else not bolted
to the floor. There are several beings lying about now, all dazed,
unconscious or possibly dead.
"Akahi!" bellows Didtz'Ik. "We can't just leave him..."
With that the Vrusk rapidly propels himself into the mass of fighting
individuals. His sheer racial size pushes many off balance and knocks some,
both friend and foe, to their knees.
hhhhHHHHHUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMmmmmmmm.....
There is no time to waste, so the rest of the Legionaires begin to
struggle their way to the still form at the back of the bar.
" I bet the bastard goes Pee-pee in strange places by himself again..."
mutters Arimos. Dorn cuts an eye at him but they continue.
Didtz'Ik suddenly rares up and slams his front two legs into a human who
is waving an electro-shock glove. The tale-tell blue nimbus flares at the
same moment of impact [zzZAPpp] and Didtz'Ik staggers from the light blow.
Arcing electricity plays over his upper torso and momentarily stuns the
creature. The Human smashes to the floor, lying imobile on his side.
Dorn reaches the bar counter and nimbly hops over to the other side.
Noting that no other being was back there, he quickly moves up the empty
space heading toward Akahi.
Arimos is not as lucky. A Yazarian and a Human take an interest in him as
he moves along the edge of the bar and the path that Didtz'Ik had cut in the
crowd. While neither are armed, they appear to be significant opponents and
Arimos drops to a combat stance.
"Didtz'Ik!...Didtz! Gimme a hand here Bug! Snap outta it!"
The Yazarian gives a toothy grin and goes in first with a leap that is
high and on Arimos' right side. The force of impact drives both into the bar
with the Legionaire taking most of the impact.
Struggling for a breath, Arimos blocks a knee to the groin and counters
with a stiff arm, open palm to the neck. It is not a solid connection, but
it rattles the monkey.
"Stinkin' Mercenaries...You cons think you can come inta Jik's place an
order US aroun..." screams the Human as he charges.
Without enough time to recover, the Human bodily slams into him and pins
Arimos to the bar. Both men continue to struggle as the Yazarian begins to
get back to his feet...
Dorn finally reaches the back of the bar and kneels next to Akahi. The
fighting rages around them, but the rear wall seems to be channeling most of
it away from them. Scanning the prone form of the 3m long Oaskar, Dorn notes
a long gash in the scales on the head and neck area. The alien's eyes are
glassy as usual, but there is no hint of consciousness in them. Only a
barely audible low moan, much like air being blown in a bottle, signals that
he is breathing at all.
Legioaire Dorn looks up just in time to see Didtz'Ik stagger back from
another blow to the head which was delivered by an orange suited Yazarian
shouting what sounded vaguely like The Family's Scripture.
"Looks like it's just you and me, snake. Stand-by, we are blowin' this
joint...." Dorn reaches down and grabs the Oaskar's long arms and begins
dragging him toward a broken out window that apparently several patrons used
as an exit.
[WHAM!]
Arimos' head snaps back from a head-butt from the slippery Human - a move
he had not expected.
" Bug! Turn around NOW!" shouts Arimos.
In the struggling, the Human manages to pin Arimos' arms in a tight "hug."
Taking advantage of this open opportunity, the Yazarian snarls and begins to
land several blows on the trapped Legionaire.
[WHAM..WHAP WHAP...WHAM!]
Blood begins to blind Arimos as it floods his right eye. Things... are
beginning...to swim...become somewhat distorted...
Didtz'Ik strikes out in a lightening quick "mule-kick" move that sweeps
the Yazarian from in front of Arimos. Taking advantage of the surprise,
Arimos elbows the slippery Human. HARD. He barely notes the cracking
ribs...
Ducking out from the embrace, Arimos spins and connects with two well
placed blows to the side of his opponent's head. That was all he had. He
had the satisfaction of seeing the man slump to the floor.
Unfortunately, as the smile spread across his face, so to did the blackness
and he lost conscousness.

Outside, there is much of the same chaos as that on the inside. The small
group of Legionaires pulls itself together in one place, carefully inspecting
one another for serious injury. Several black suited Yazarians of the
station security are arriving and they are busy subduing those that are still
unruly.
"That ugly mug looks a lot worse now, Arimos," states Dorn. Though the
bleeding has stopped, most of the right side of the Human's face is lacerated
and has a storm of colored contusions. Didtz'Ik still has a dazed manner
about him and a burn from the high voltage on his carapace. "Akahi is still
unconscous - but I don't recommend that we remain here much longer. Security
will get around to us sooner or later..."
At that moment, everyone's chronocomm vibrated for attention.
"Legionaires," said Lt Birrkh,"Check in with me now. I have been informed
that there is some trouble on the station. I hope you are not involved..."
