; The discussion for today must once again be brief.  The shelves 
; here at F.C. are filled with work waiting to be done.

; Today's quickie image takes us to the fractal that results when 
; the expression Z^(sqrt(2))+C is iterated.  I use the square root 
; of two because this value causes the midgets to reveal their 
; presence by the 2-way symmetry that often surrounds them.  The 
; existence of a midget in today's image must be inferred.  The 
; actual midget at at the center lies far beyond resolution.
; 
; The fragmented, sharply angular features radiating from the 
; unseen midget are typical of midgets in fractals created by 
; exponents of Z between 1 and 2.  The scene itself actually lies 
; in the 'East Valley' area of a larger midget.
; 
; Seeing little of interest in the image, I rated it at another 
; lowly three, and named it "Splash".  One look at the finished 
; image will justify the name.  When the 7-minute render time is 
; considered, the overall value comes in at an unimpressive 40.
;
