; The formula behind today's fractal combines various parts of 
; negative Z^(1.1) and Z^(-0.9), then adds (1/C).  The resulting 
; parent fractal is a reasonably pure Mandelbrot set, with 
; numerous slices of fractal debris to the southwest.  Today's 
; fractal scene is located in one of these slices.

; It is rare to see such a near-perfect circle of elements 
; surrounding a midget, unless one dives to an extreme magnitude.  
; I have emphasized the circular elements of the scene and named 
; the image "Discus".

; The image is unusual enough to earn its rating of 7.  When the 
; render time of 3-3/4 minutes is figured in, the overall value 
; equals a very respectful 183.
