I chose it because the midget at the center ; is unusually interesting for one created by the exponent 1.5. ; It is so interesting that I rated it at a 7. ; ; The name "Musette Melody" invokes images of the green hills of ; Scotland, with the sound of distant bagpipes drifting on the ; wind. It has little to do with the appearance of the image. ; ; The 4-3/4 minute render time is fast enough for all but the ; most impatient fractalists, or those with Fractint-challenged ; machines. Those who would not or can not render will find the ; finished image posted on the FOTD web site at: ; ; ; ; The weather on Tuesday here at Fractal Central was not perfect. ; The temperature reached only 59F 15C, the wind blew, and the sun ; shone only part of the time, but the fractal cats made the most ; of the less-than-perfect conditions, and enjoyed over three ; hours adventure in the holly thicket. My day was uneventful. ; Today promises to be a repeat. The FOTD will also be repeated ; in 24 hours. Until then, take care, and be wise. ; ; ; Jim Muth ; jamth@mindspring.com ; jimmuth@aol.com ; ; ; START PARAMETER FILE======================================= Musette_Melody { ; time=0:04:43.58--SF5 on a P200 reset=2004 type=formula formulafile=allinone.frm formulaname=MandelbrotBC2 passes=1 center-mag=-0.70822397496087670/+0.410103256784967\ 50/2745.83/1/20/1.96689331488641983e-011 params=1.5/0/0/0 float=y maxiter=2000 inside=0 logmap=89 periodicity=10 colors=000Z98X86W85U7AR6EN5JJ4NE3RA2W61_20cA6eIBgP\ HhXMjcSkkXmo_nnbljcjfdibegZffVgdRhbNiaJj_FkZBlX7lW\ 8mU9nSAoQBoOCpMDqKEqJFiHFaGFUEFMDDPEBSEAVE8YF7_F5b\ F4eG2hG1jG0gH0eH0cI0aI0_J0YJ0WK0UK0SL0QL4SJ7TIAVHD\ WGGXFKZEN_DQaCTbBWcA_e9bf8eh7hi6kj5f_8aPBYFEZKCZOA\ ZS8_W6__4_c3bb7ebBhbEkaInaMpaPodOofNbgNQhNDiN1jN6i\ OBhPGhQLgRPfSUfTZeUcdVgdVjaSmZPoWNrTKuQHwOF9HbAMXA\ QRBUMBYGCaBCe5Ci0V`4mS8hWEc_KZcQ`ePafPcgPdhOfiOgjO\ ikNjlNlmNmnMooMppMrqLsrLusLvtLrrNnqOjpPfoRbnSZmTVl\ VRkWNjXJiYMjWOjVQjTSjSUjRXjPZjO`jNbkLdkKgkIikHkkGm\ kEokDqkCojBmiBkiAihAgh9eg9cg8af8_e8Ye7Wd7Ud6Sc6Qc5\ Ob5Nb5La7K`8J_9IZAGYBFXCEWDDVEBUFATG9SH8RI7RJFVPMZ\ VTb__fefjkmmps_rxMstQopTllWihZfdbcae`YhYUkVQoSMrPI\ uMFxJHyLJzMLzNNzOPzPRzQTzRVzSTzTRzUPzVNzVLzWJzXHzY\ DzOFzNHzNJzNLzMNzMPzMRzLTzLVzLXzKZzK`zKbzJdzJfzJlz\ KqzKpzLozLozLnzLYzDYzBZzA } frm:MandelbrotBC2 { ; by several Fractint users e=p1, a=imag(p2)+100 p=real(p2)+PI q=2*PI*floor(p/(2*PI)) r=real(p2)-q Z=C=Pixel: Z=log(Z) IF(imag(Z)>r) Z=Z+flip(2*PI) ENDIF Z=exp(e*(Z+flip(q)))+C |Z|
