; Today's image continues the adventures of our 'almost' Mandel-
; brot set, in which the exponent of Z is 2.0001 rather than 2.  
; This time we have rotated the set until the large southern 
; filament intersects the negative X-axis.  As expected, the 
; filament breaks up near the point of intersection, and the 
; midgets on the filament do strange things.
; 
; The discontinuities in today's scene are so slight as to be 
; almost invisible, but the large, totally chaotic area around the 
; midget is something unexpected on the southern filament of the 
; M-set, where ever more finely divided but sharply defined 
; filaments are the rule.

; I named the image "Galaxial".  The word simply came to mind as I 
; stared blankly at the image.  (I do a lot of blank staring.)  
; The rating of a 6 is a bit above average, and the render time of 
; 20 minutes is a bit above average also.

; The weather threatened on Sunday here at Fractal Central, but
