; Today's image is named "Fake True-Color".  I gave it this name 
; because the elements are so finely divided and so random that 
; the effect almost mimics a true-color image with its millions of 
; colors.

; The rating of a 6 is once again a bit less than what I hoped to 
; achieve.  But fractals are like that.  A fractalist cannot 
; always be sure of what will lie at the end of the day's search.

; The parent fractal of today's image is surprisingly simple -- a 
; flat green disk with a spot of chaotic debris off to the east.  
; The image is located where least expected -- in this spot of 
; debris, on a poorly marked filament leading to a Mandelbrot bud.

; With a running time of 1-1/4 hours on my fractal machine, the 
; parameter file is annoyingly slow.  But I have sent the 
; completed image on ahead to Paul, who will post it on the FOTD

; Very warm and humid weather on Tuesday kept the dynamic duo 
; lazy.  Their greatest activity came at 11pm, when a thunder-
; shower came up and sent them scurrying into the large closet for 
; safety.  Today is starting a bit less humid but still warm.  If 
; it doesn't thunder, the duo will have a good day.  For me it 
; will be work and fractals, but what the heck, it's a life.
