; Today's FOTD is 12 hours late.  My excuse: the usual one about

; Today's little diversion takes us to the fractal that results 
; when various portions of Z^(-2.5) and Z^(-10.7) are combined and 
; (1/C) is added.  There is little to be said about the image, 
; which must be seen to be appreciated.

; Unsatisfied with the colors, I could rate the image no higher 
; than an average 5.  But its fireball speed of under two minutes 
; on my tired old machine means that little effort is required to 
; calculate it.

; I named the picture "Bits and Pieces" for no good reason.  Of 
; course, all fractals created with negative powers of Z come in 
; bits and pieces, so the name might not be so inappropriate after 
; all.
