; The parent fractal of today's semi-glorious image resulted when 
; I combined various negative portions of Z^(2.5) and Z^(0.08).  
; This parent fractal resembles a distorted Mandelbrot set rotated 
; 180 degrees, with a much broadened East Valley.  Ignoring the 
; broadened East Valley, today's image is located in a curiously 
; out-of-place bit of fractal stuff on the southeast shore of the 
; main bay of its parent.

; I named the image "Fuzzy Caterpillars".  Indeed, the four vavy 
; arms extending from the central midget do have a certain cater-
; pillar feel about them.  I rated the image at a 6.  It's quite a 
; colorful fractal scene, but I could find nothing out of the 
; ordinary in it that might raise the rating to a lofty 7 or 8.

; The render time of 11 minutes is slightly slow for such an

; Another near-perfect day went un-noticed by the fractal cats on 
; Saturday.  They were more interested in exploring the more re-
; mote nooks and crannies of New Fractal Central.  Finding little 
; of interest in the crannies, their attention eventually turned 
; to thoughts of their evening treat.
