; Today's curious image exists in the fractal created by the 
; formula Z^(1.05)+C as it appears 555 levels up the logarithmic 
; spiral.  The very low-order parent fractal consists of little 
; more than a large bay, with a partly jagged and partly chaotic 
; shoreline.  The whole thing somewhat resembles a comet.  Today's 
; scene is located in a chaotic area on the northern shoreline of 
; the bay.

; I named the image "Curling Floaters", which fairly well 
; describes it.  When I look at the image, I see a blue sky in the 
; background nearly obscured by a writhing mass of curly things 
; rising from below.  Others may see almost anything their imagina-
; tion can picture.

; I rated the image at a 6.  It has no midget at the center, but 
; it is still a rather enjoyable fractal to observe, with an 
; unusually pronounced 3-dimensional effect produced entirely by 
; the coloring.
; 
; The render time of 5-1/2 minutes is within reason for such a 
; fractal.  Sometimes however, we have more pressing matters than 
; calculating fractals.  If today is such a day, do not despair.

; A rainy morning gave way to a sunny afternoon here at New 
; Fractal Central on Wednesday, while the temperature reached a 
; balmy 54F 12C.  More interested in play than weather, the 
; fractal cats spent the day getting into various mischief.

; exhausted.

; After taking two days off, I had a busy day catching up.  But by
