; Today's FOTD image combines 0.5 part of Z^(-1.7) with an equal 
; amount of Z^(1.7) and adds (1/C).  The parent fractal is a 
; sprawling, hugely bloated thing, a universe of debris infested 
; with Mandelbrot sets of all shapes and sizes.  Today's scene was 
; found deep in the East Valley area of one of the moderate sized 
; Mandeloids.

; I named the image "Fractal Eructations".  I'm not sure what an 
; eructation is, but the word sounds like it must mean something.  
; Basically, what we have in today's FOTD is a brilliant and 
; lively midget with a bad case of the zits.

; When the time came to rate the image, I thought long and hard.  
; Then 20 seconds later I decided against letting it go unrated.  
; I gave it a rating of a 6, which is just a wee bit above average.

; Partly cloudy skies and seasonably cold temperatures prevailed 
; here at Fractal central on Tuesday.  Temperatures in the 30'sF, 
; around 3C, bothered the fractal cats not at all.  They stayed 
; comfortably within range of the heat from the large radiator in 
; the hallway.

; My day was properly busy, and more of the same is expected 
; tomorrow, when the next FOTD will appear as scheduled.  (I am
