; To create today's parent fractal I combined negative Z^(-11.11) 
; with 11 negative parts of Z^(-1.1) and added (1/C), clearly a 
; play on the number 1.  This parent fractal is a sprawling, over-
; sized thing with many large bays, a near-perfect Mandeloid, and 
; a prominent 'fan' edged by a string of broken Mandeloid midgets. 
; Today's image is located at the edge of the 'fan', near one of 
; the larger midgets.

; The image is notable for the brilliancy of its colors, but 
; despite the brilliancy, I declined to give it a name or rating.  
; The calculation time of 13-1/4 minutes borders on slowness.  Not

; A partly cloudy and mild day, with a temperature of 36F 2C, was 
; spoiled at nightfall when a surprise snow squall left 1-1/2 
; inches (4cm) of snow on the ground.  The fractal cats were so 
; busy chasing each other that they never noticed the snow.

; My day was extremely busy. And the rush looks like it will con-
; tinue well into February.  Hopefully, I'll be able to keep the
