; Today's nervous-looking image came to life when I combined 5 
; negative parts of Z^(-1.5) with 1 negative part of Z^(-7.7) and 
; added (1/C) to generate a parent fractal that resembles a mis-
; shapen rabbit-snowman with two undersized ears, staring at a 
; fairly normal Mandelbrot set some distance to the east.  Today's 
; image is located in the center of the most prominent valley, 
; which separates the rabbit-snowman's thorax from his abdomen.

; I named the image "Hope Springs Eternal", though I have no idea 
; what I might have been hoping for when I thought of the name.  I 
; rated the image at a slightly-above-average 6.  It took little 
; effort to convince myself that it actually was at least a little 
; above the FOTD average.

; The calculation time of 1 minute is on the fast P2000 unit.  On 
; the workhorse P200 machine it would take between 4 and 5 minutes 
; to finish.  Of course, the calculation time is of no consequence
