; Today's FOTD is shamefully late.  But I have an excuse.  On 
; Saturday morning the weather was so good that Fractal Lady got 
; an uncontrollable urge to visit her old alma mater in State 
; College, which is about 85 miles from Fractal Central.  Our day 
; was very pleasant though a bit too sentimental for my taste.  
; When we got back to F.C. well after dark, we were exhausted.

; With no chance to create a new fractal last evening, I dredged 
; an old one from the fractal bone yard this morning, and declared 
; it FOTD for June 24.  The image is a scene along the negative 
; X-axis of the parent fractal that results when the formula 
; Z^(2.003)+C is iterated 10 levels up the log ladder.

; I could hardly give rating to a fractal that has been lying in 
; the virtual dust for a year or two.  But I did give it a name.  
; I named it "Rainy Day" because I have been saving it for just 
; such a day as yesterday.

; machine.  I estimate it would take around 1-1/2 minutes on the
