; Today's image lies in the fractal that comes about when 4.4 
; negative parts of Z^(-1.4) are combined with 0.4 negative part 
; of Z^(-4.4) and (1/C) is added.  To make things more interest-
; ing, the scene was half-evaporated by increasing the bailout 
; radius to 850.

; Then, to add still more interest, the final image was rendered 
; with the outside set to 'tdis' and the inside set to 'fmod' with 
; a proximity of 0.2, which makes it quite difficult to tell the 
; inside from the outside parts.

; The final result rates a nominal 7, which might be a bit 
; liberal.  The name "Pebbles in the Night" refers to the smaller 
; bits and pieces in the image, which, with a little imagination, 
; might be seen as pebbles lying on some forgotten beach.
