; Today's image turned out quite well considering the whopping 3 
; minutes or so it took me to find it.  It turned out well enough, 
; in fact, that I decided to give it a rating of a 6.

; The exponent of Z in today's image is 1.77828, which just 
; happens to be the 4th root of 10, not that this makes much 
; difference in the appearance of the image.  The fact that the 
; parent fractal was calculated 14 levels up the complex 
; logarithmic hyperspiral with no function applied is far more 
; significant.
; 
; Most of the effect is created by the color palette, which was 
; actually created by the Fractint program with a single strike of 
; the <enter> key.
; 
; The name "Pits_and_Bieces" is a slight variation of "Bits and 
; Pieces", which needs no explanation.

; The only thing left to mention is the very fast 65-second 
; running time of the included parameter file.
